I enjoyed my stay at the hotel! It was a short walk to the venue, and they offered a shuttle service if the weather had been bad.

Liked: The hotel was clean. The furnishings were up to date, and the staff was friendly.
Disliked: None.

Rude Staff

Liked: The location
Disliked: The reception staff on both mornings was rude and very unhelpful. The floor was being cleaned at reception when I arrived and I had to walk over it to use the rest room, when I walked back over the staff was cursing me out in the kitchen for saying sorry and walking on the floor. Her language was very vulgar and loud. The night reception was very nice when we came back to hotel for the evening

Overall our stay was very...

Liked: The location to PNC Park and the breakfast buffet was excellent and the woman running the breakfast was exceptional
Disliked: There are two elevators to this 10 floor hotel and only one elevator was in operation all weekend. One of the reasons I chose this hotel again was because when I stayed here last June, the front desk staff and the manager were exceptional. This visit was different. The woman working at the front desk was unprofessional and not friendly. Honestly, she looked like she wanted to be anywhere else but there. I did not see the manager all weekend, however, last June he was present the whole weekend and interacted with us several times ensuring we were having a good visit.

Although the location was perfect...

Liked: Location/proximity to ball park and children’s museum. Breakfast was amazing.
Disliked: one of the two elevators was broken, room wasn’t very clean, had to stand in water to take a shower because the drain was too slow, flashing light in room, mirror light and bathroom fan were not working. We requested service that we never received and when we called the desk to ask again they gave us the runaround for ten minute before finally sending someone up to take the yeah and drop off fresh towels. Repeated requests for towels at the pool were ignored. Check out was a nightmare.

We enjoyed it!

Liked: The facilities and staff gave a welcoming impression for our stay. And booking.com had a parking package available which was well worth it.
Disliked: A couple light switches in the room didn't turn any lights on. And one elevator was out of service. These were only minor inconveniences, though.
