Liked: Stayed recently at this 4-star property at Stafford. While the room was acceptable and the check-in staff (Toshomba or similar) was initially helpful, I encountered a serious issue with the in-room kettle—it was scaled and unsafe for use. When I reported it, the staff member admitted all kettles were in poor condition and even said replacements were “too costly.” His dismissive attitude and unprofessional body language were unacceptable.As someone familiar with top hotel chains, I was shocked by this response from a Holiday Inn brand property. Basic amenities and polite service should be a given. Sadly, the staff lacked courtesy and proper training. Guest concerns should be met with solutions, not arguments. Very disappointed.
