Mediocre

Liked: Location. Rooms well insulated from traffic.
Disliked: One small lift for whole hotel. Breakfast was very average, quite bland. No water bottles in room or wardrobes. Very mediocre overall.

Overnight stay

Liked: Easy to get to. Lovely, friendly, staff. Great breakfast options. Good sized room. Everything we needed for an overnight stay.

Liked: Convenient location only quick walk across bridge from city of London. Brilliant breakfast with plenty of options. Staff were friendly & knowledgeable especially Tish who went out of her way to help us. Loved the ethnic diversity of staff.
Disliked: Access to lift & therefore hotel floors is possible without key

Liked: We were lucky to have a room ready for an early check in. The rooms are spacious. A large variety at breakfast, however, it does get busy after 8h00.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the view from our room window was blocked by the external renovations - just unlucky timing.

Bad

Liked: The principal bed was good, but the sofa bad..
Disliked: It was one of the worst experiences in a hotel of this price range. We waited 15 minutes for a breakfast menu and left without coffee because both machines weren't attended to by the staff and stopped working. There was no bacon or cheese until they refilled it an hour later. In short, we spent an hour and a half trying to get some breakfast, but we did get coffee because the machine didn't even work at the bar. I don't recommend this hotel at all; there are better and cheaper options in Southwark.
