Nice budget family outing

Liked: Very good customer service and friendly staff. The hotel is convenient and not too far from the main attractions in Portsmouth. The rooms are convenient and clean.
Disliked: Breakfast can be much better especially the variety but nothing to complain much of the taste. Healthy options are available.

decent place & good breakfast

Liked: Very helpful staff on duty when we arrived. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Comfy bed & clean room. Decent modern bathroom & powerful shower
Disliked: At breakfast the eating area was freezing cold. When the main entrance doors to the hotel were open, both sets opened automatically at the same time giving blasts of cold air straight into the breakfast area. During the busy morning period with many guests coming in & going out of the main entrance, this got very uncomfortable. There was a small portable heater placed in the breakfast area to help but it wasn't powerful enough. If the main doors were adjusted to open sequentially, then there wouldn't be a massive blast of cold air each time a guest entered the building!
