Stayed one night Friday 26th May. Very surprised at how reasonable the rates were. Very clean. Very pleasant staff. Great breakfast. Room good size - no complaints at all!

Liked: Very clean room; big bed; all good!
Disliked: Could not get back into our room once we’d left so had to go back to reception to get the card re-activated. Slightly annoying!

Great hotel and excellent value; easy to access and plenty of parking; ideal when visiting an exhibition or event at Ricoh Arena.

Liked: Great welcome; clean hotel; breakfast is ideal and staff were very helpful.
Disliked: I would prefer a brighter light in the bedroom to read by. Also when you try and sit up in bed the bed moves away from the wall and you have to get out and wedge the wheel with a towel!

Disliked: We had a ground floor room which was good as my husband has disabilities.However, the bathroom was very small there wasn’t any room to put your personal items.Also the radiator was out of use.

Liked: We had some trouble getting disney plus on the tv but went and seen the staff to see if they could help.they came up straight away to the room and helped us to can't it on our tv through our phone which was very helpful plus the breakfast was really good too.was very comfortable much better than the Premier inn
Disliked: Wasn't keen on the scrambled egg but my partner made up for it as she loved it.plus there's not a shop near by where I could buy cheap sandwiches and snacks to take to work with me

Liked: The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good.
Disliked: Upon entering my appointed room on the third floor, I noticed an odour in the room. There were speckles of dust on the duvet cover and underneath the duvet cover on the bed which I dusted off with my hands. In addition, the duvet cover / sheets had a strange odour, like body odour, it was unpleasant and I found it difficult to sleep with this odour. I kept the window open all night. I stayed at this hotel many years ago and I did not encounter any issues, so I was disappointed this time. At check out, I informed the person whom I saw at reception, (I believe he was kitchen staff as the two reception staff who initially greeted me on arrival were not available), he advised he would inform the manager regarding my experience.

Liked: The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful . The hotel was clean, and so was the room . The room had everything you would need for a long stay like soft, or firm comfortable beds a big wardrobe tv a massive desk with a big mirror and hair dryer a kettle with milk and coffe and tea and a shower toilet sink the room was very clean and quite spacious. The morning breakfast has everything you could need for breakfast and was well presented . Outside of the hotel, where loads of car parking spaces and places to charge an electric car . Seperate from the hotel within walking distance was a subway starbucks. Macdonalds and an odeon movie theatre i would definitely stay again
Disliked: The only thing that I didn't like was when I arrived at the hotel and checked in I was told that I would have to pay a 50 pound payment to the hotel and that the 50 pound payment would be returned to me once I had left and the room was checked to see if it was in good condition . I was told that this was policy and it was on the hotels site . even though I couldn't find any mention of this on booking . Com I fount it strange as I had already paid for the room by card on booking . Com and usually in the past with any other hotel they only usually ask you for this if you pay with money instead of a card for a room at a hotel . The reason I'm putting this as a dislike and mentioning it is because some people may not be aware of this and might not have 50 pound spare . The only other thing to consider is if you are in a room with a window facing outside, you might hear some traffic at night, with the window shut, but it isn't loud it's just noticeable but they do offer other rooms where you can't hear traffic you just have to ask
