Nice and helpful staff; clean and modern room

Disliked: Very noisy heating unit in room

Great for families, the pool...

Liked: Breakfast was great and big with lots of options. The pull out bed was surprisingly comfy. Great family stay for the cost! The pool is smallish (and randomly seemed to have sand at the bottom of it?) but worked for the kids!
Disliked: We ended our vacation in the ER because our daughter fell, while waking, and hit her head near the pool. The floor in the pool area is VERY slippery, aside from the few rubber matts directly by the stairs into the pool. After she hit her head, the staff was kind and relatively helpful, getting some ice. (Though didn't offer anything else.) HOWEVER, this is so dangerous, and frankly a lawsuit waiting to happen. At the very least, please put down more matts! Obviously, this really colored our stay, which is too bad, because otherwise we had a good time.

Disliked: Facility had hot tub in photos and online. It was no longer there and covered over with a wooden deck type thing. Should be updated on the website as that was a main feature I was looking for.

Liked: Close to all attractions like mystic seaport.
Disliked: The 2nd floor was closed do to remodeling.

Disliked: The pool was really small and dirty! It showed a hot tub which is why we booked but it was closed! The hotel room had multiple places of water damage
