Pleasant Stay

Liked: An amazing spot to stay for the location. Close to everything and easy to get to. Staff was short handed and often hard to find (only because they were doing so much at once). We got a room with a pull out bed and there were no sheets or blankets in the room for it. Tried to call the front desk but got no answer so had to go downstairs and ask for them.
Disliked: It just looked like it could use a refresh. Strobing lights in elevator area and just looked a bit rundown.

Newly renovated hotel with pool,...

Liked: Ample parking, prominent location atop a hill overlooking town, newly renovated rooms, breakfast and common areas. Friendly, flexible day shift staff. Impressive, generous breakfast provided.
Disliked: Some previously advertised areas were inaccessible due to unannounced construction (fitness center) or simply closed without explanation (whirlpool within pool area)

I would stay here again...

Great for families, the pool...

Liked: Breakfast was great and big with lots of options. The pull out bed was surprisingly comfy. Great family stay for the cost! The pool is smallish (and randomly seemed to have sand at the bottom of it?) but worked for the kids!
Disliked: We ended our vacation in the ER because our daughter fell, while waking, and hit her head near the pool. The floor in the pool area is VERY slippery, aside from the few rubber matts directly by the stairs into the pool. After she hit her head, the staff was kind and relatively helpful, getting some ice. (Though didn't offer anything else.) HOWEVER, this is so dangerous, and frankly a lawsuit waiting to happen. At the very least, please put down more matts! Obviously, this really colored our stay, which is too bad, because otherwise we had a good time.
