Holiday Inn Express Manhattan Midtown West By IHG

Even though my stay was short, I had a wonderful stay. I really enjoyed myself. The staff was really helpful and pleasant. I will definitely come again to stay and recommend anybody to book a room :)

Disliked: There was some confusion and some one came to our room at 5 o’clock in the morning because the room was assigned to them also. Then at the front desk person came up to our room and knocked on the door, asking what our names were. We had two rooms. They also woke up my son and his girlfriend in the other room to see what their last name was no apology and for us were from the West Coast so it was basically getting woken up at 3 o’clock in the morning. We flew from Washington state to New York for a cruise. We wanted to get the other day before the cruise so that we could rest after the long flight. Needless to say we didn’t get any rest. The most important thing to note is the front desk person that came to our rooms didn’t so much as apologize for the inconvenience

Liked: Location was good as we wanted to be near the Intrepid Museum, room was clean and reasonable size.
Disliked: The breakfast was terrible - we went downstairs and it was like a refugee camp. I think don't offer breakfast in that state, small breakfast area that seats about 20 and there was about 50 people and one staff putting cinnamon buns from a shop box, as soon as they were down they were gone - food all over it was terrible - if you book don't go for breakfast.

Disliked: location, breakfast area, room (toilet valve was broken and set off in the middle or the night multiple times with loud noise, unfriendly staff, elevators too slow and crowded

Liked: Check-in staff was fantastic!!
Disliked: Fruit and sausage container was empty on breakfast buffet, no small trash container near coffee. Potatoes were cold. A $50.00 hold was put on my card upon arrival. However, I was not told about it. That is flat out wrong!!
