Holiday Inn Express Leicester

Everything was good about our stay. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were amazing - had a really good night's sleep. Would recommend this hotel.

Underwhelming

Liked: The room was spotlessly clean.The car parking was on-site and free if you register your number on arrival.
Disliked: Booking a standard room and then being told they could allocate a room with 2 singles beds wasn't a good start.I think the rooms feel dated like a Travelodge 20 years ago, I think they are completely soulless and the mattress was past it best imho. Luckily it was only a one night stayover, I slept ok, but I would be very unlikely to use this hotel again

Liked: Excellent staff, lovely clean room and very comfy bed. Breakfast had a great range and was so tasty. Great car parking facilities and great location.

overall it was fine.

Liked: Clean room and comfortable bed, although the pressure of the shower was really poor and pipe from the water to the shower head was leaking profusely. Breakfast was ok but dining room could do with being cleaner. my table had not been wiped down so had to do this myself
Disliked: Poor bathing facility, shower head leaking so no pressure
