Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Exit I-71 Ohio State Fair - Expo Center

Liked: Very clean and comfortable.

Overall it was an average hotel. We stayed one night after a concert. The bathroom door handle was broken and wouldnt lock and our room also smelled a bit like smoke. When we went to get breakfast in the morning, it was already gone and cleaned up before we even got a change to eat. The staff was friendly. Even though we were in a rougher part of town I still felt safe at our hotel.

Very good

Liked: It was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. I forgot to bring my soap, and they have Dove products in the rooms which was a plus, as well as, complimentary toiletries if you forgot one.
Disliked: The only thing was the signs in the parking lot, the lobby, the way coming in to the hotel, that you should take everything out of your vehicle. You can really get the vibe that the hotel has theft problem in the area. Thankfully nothing was stolen from me.

A Mediocre Stay

Liked: The key cards deactivated every day, so we had to get them reactivated at the front desk multiple times. The last morning, there was no staff in the breakfast area. Lots of things were out of stock, and the food was undercooked.

Liked: The only bad thing was the coffee maker didn’t work and the cleaning lady knocked on the door at 11a when check out was at 11:30a

Disliked: The placement of the property, the parking area had huge pot holes everywhere. Staff was friendly but very unorganized.

Liked: We didn't stay here- I mistakenly made the reservation at the wrong hotel and called this hotel and they fixed it. Beyond grateful for the help. My son wanted a pool for his birthday and they didn't have one. I couldn't afford to pay for 2 rooms. Just thank you so much
