Fabulous Hotel

Liked: Welcoming, clean, easygoing and helpful. I love how the extra teabags etc are easily accessible.

Liked: Convenient location to visit family in Quedgeley.Nice big room with accessible shower.Bed comfy and good room temperature
Disliked: Generally the standard has dropped over the years we gave been staying here but the worst is the breakfast..I know it is badged as 'free' but for the sometimes high cost of a room it really isn't.The 'hot' food was tepid)( and we were there at 7 ish!) The potato cakes were soggy, the scrambled egg was rubbery and tasteless.The mini muffins and croissants are clearly not high end.The only option of tea is PG Tips : previously there were other varieties( I used to have Earl Grey)The fruit/ yogurt options were very limited and budget.In fact the entire breakfast was budget but the prices for a stay were not.If savings need to be made why have 4 members of staff hanging around doing not a lot whilst guests are expecting to clear their own tables?And most of all why was IHT own website charging £135 for the night and Booking.com £89?

Great stopover.

Liked: Location just off the m5 was perfect for us. There's is a great pub next door which serves good food and has a fabulous garden too. The breakfast was basic but fine. The staff were really pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: The only thing that we thought could be improved were the room could do with a spruce up.

Liked: Extremely clean,modern Hotel.Buffet breakfast included, great variety of hot & cold food.Old Pub on same property, with fantastic ,huge meals!
Disliked: Everything perfect
