Holiday Inn Club Vacations Hill Country Resort at Canyon Lake

The rooms were wonderful. Only thing was we didn't stay long enough.

Liked: Everything was excellent.
Disliked: No bad points at all. The only thing I would change is not go through a 3rd party for reservations. Go thru IHG.

Liked: The size of the unit. Furniture and mattresses were nice and comfortable and newer! It was clean and perfect location to visit family who live in the area. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: A little dated, countertops a little worn out. They need to put stone countertops in. Bathrooms clean but dated.

It was a good stay...

Liked: Lovely little suits with many barbecues for guests to use. Also there are so many activities to do from swimming to mini golf!
Disliked: The toilet didn’t look like it had been cleaned. Disappointing.

Spacious clean rooms and helpful...

Liked: The property was pretty central to the areas around it. The rooms were huge and spacious. The room was clean and stocked with extra items which made it easier for us during our stay not having to request more. The staff was helpful with the texting service which made dining and activity decisions easier. The room bracelets were a genius idea because you don’t have to fumble with a card.
Disliked: The check in process is very confusing because gps brings you in the service entrance. The building for check in was not very well labeled. We understood “registration” for the mini golf or classes. We are not members of the resort so it was unclear. You can see they had some water problems in the unit with a lot of repairs.
