Disappointing and surprising, given the...

Liked: Location was amazing. A few short steps to the underground. 24 hour Tesco and quick eats were also great. Staff was friendly and did everything that was possible to make our stay enjoyable.
Disliked: Temperature control: had to contact concierge to adjust. The hallways and rooms were very warm and uncomfortable. The tub was backing up (pooling water) with even a very brief shower. The sink made gurgling noises which affected sleep. The switches to the varying light sources were not well labeled; which made it difficult to delineate. The rooms were extremely narrow (perhaps mounting the TV would be a better solution. The light on one side of the bed did not work. It’s disappointing that the hotel would agree to tarnish their reputation and lease a room that is far below industry standards.

Liked: Very good location, warm welcome, clean rooms.We are a family of 4 and the room was big enough, we spent 3 nights and the breakfast was delicious.

Liked: Friendly staff. Terrific location.
Disliked: A lot of construction going on which I realize cannot be avoided, but it does not make for a pleasant stay. Also a shortage of plugs in the room for charging, and my kettle didn’t work, which was annoying.
