Disliked: No heating in bedroom or bathroom, no hot. Old tap to shower as missing, major draft from toilet window, fridge not working.

Liked: Clean room. well equipt, warm, great bar food and breakfast. quiet. Friendly staff good service.

Started ok but not impressed...

Disliked: Booking in was given 217. The room is tiny, the bed is only a 4'6 & is collapsing in the middle. Went to reception to ask to change & was given option of the accessible room. The room is fine apart from the bathroom, Which is not accessible at all. I expected a wet room shower, but it only has a bath with no extra facilities to use the room so anyone in a wheelchair has no hope. Asked again & reception staff couldn't see the problem at all. Moved to 324 which was similar to 217, but gave up & stayed in that room. Had stayed on the Friday in 342 which was absolutely fine & stayed in 242 on the Saturday as we had a grandchild come with their family. So overall started of well with a few hiccups but last night wasn't great. The hotel was practically empty on the last night but reception staff said they had no leeway to make the night better. Not sure if i would bother staying in that particular location as there are a lot of other hotels in the area who are more accomodating as we visit Bromsgrove a lot

Just one of those days...

Liked: The food was excellent.
Disliked: When 1 thing goes wrong it's causes a domino effect. The heating was not working (but pre warned) so a plug in radiator was in the room, all good and well, but switched off after the keycard was removed on exit. The wait for my meal was extremely long, but found out later that the tills had gone down, so the kitchen were not getting the orders. Unsure about £7.00 for cans of Guiness. Went to bed early as I needed to get the room warmish, unfortunately the heating must have been fixed overnight, as I woke up very sweaty and hot, ( I'd left the temporary radiator on. ) Nobodies fault, Hey' ho.

Liked: Breakfast was fabulous, with an abundance of options meeting our dietary requirements to impeccable standards. The dining room and serving areas were immaculate and well-maintained by attentive and professional staff.
Disliked: When we arrived on the evening of 1/12/24 we noticed the car park had some potholes. It had rained very heavily so there were some deep puddles of water. I noticed an overflowing litter bin there too. However, upon entry we were warmly greeted by the staff member at the reception desk.

Liked: Great hotel, ample parking too. Breakfast was plentiful and great choice of 2 menus for lunch and dinner. Staff very accommodating.
Disliked: Gym was freezing that could only use it once. You shouldn't exercise in a cold space. Hand towel holder would have been good to have and also body lotion as other products were nice.
