A welcome retreat.
Liked: Excellent service- I cannot fault the staff
Disliked: Accessible room did not have a seat in the shower, and only one grab handle, so I had to be helped by my husband in the shower. A solo traveller would have struggled. Also, nowhere in the bathroom to hang clothes or towels.

Liked: Location and parking was great bed was comfy
Disliked: Well it said room with a view!! we looked at a brick wall and what looked like a huge air con thing on top off a roof which hummed all night, room was hot so had to have window open, also must of been a function downstairs as could here music till 11:30… disappointed pool and sauna shut at 7 we arrived at 5 to a coach load of teens turning up and the pool was way to busy… floor in bedroom was sloppy, and the shower is fixed so you can’t take it off to wash hair etc,

Like sleeping in a sauna...
Liked: The breakfast was alright. Nothing spectacular but alright.
Disliked: There was no receipt for proof of parking so wasn’t sure if registered and therefore anxious about parking fee. The bedroom was a sauna-so hot!! There was no way to cool it and it wasn’t the hottest day ever. The cleanliness was average. Had to leave window open to try and cool but room was next to designated smoking area so noisy and smelled of smoke- so had to close window. Leisure facilities were basic. Breakfast was like going to a club with dance music playing right above my head in a room with scratched up tables and dirty floors. Staff were monosyllabic. The bedroom door opened straight onto a set of stairs which felt very risky and dangerous. Somebody will get hurt falling down them at some point if not happened already.
