Overall not worth it!

Liked: We enjoyed the location of the hotel and the comfort of the room.
Disliked: - the initial room that was assigned had no window. Given that we had booked a room with view, we asked to change room. We eventually had a great room with a nice view.- the breakfast is very simple, very little options. And foremost, there is no breakfast room at all. We were told to have breakfast in our bedroom, which is facing west so in the morning is cold and without sun.- our stay was definitely not worth the price.

Absolutely wonderful! Nice to stay...

Liked: Everything - from the second we checked in until we left. Great hospitality, nice welcome, lovely room, nice view, comfortable bedding, and nice morning breakfast greeting. A great stay and perfect location. Just wish we had time to enjoy the welcoming pool.

Quaint hotel in great locstion

Liked: Very welcoming historic hotel. Our room was small, however it had a sunny balcony with sea views. Facilities were good. A light continental breakfast was provided, however you had to take it to your room. Free parking at the hotel and outside.Location was great with a short walk to Carmel.
Disliked: Nothing.

Pleasant

Charming and comfortable

Liked: Location was on the hill of Carmel, but still walking distance to the beach. Food was a simple continental breakfast, but coffee or tea was good. No bathtub in my room, but the shower was fine if older. The place had charm and loved the dutch doors to see the view and get fresh air.

Liked: Staff was friendly, cordial and helpful.
Disliked: It was a bit dated and is scheduled to be rebuilt next year
