Liked: Oh my so many things! We love the retro motor hotel.

Disliked: Only downfall was no pool or hot tub. Considering the price.

Liked: Friendly staff, clean room, central location, and a quiet nights stay.
Disliked: A few extra pillows, additional blankets, and a comforter would have been nice.

Needed a reasonable priced place...

Liked: Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room was quiet, and had everything we needed plus the king size bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: No complaints!

The Hitching Post is a...

Liked: We liked the friendly , welcoming manager, the large kitchen and full sized refrigerator that was completely separate room from the bedroom, the free parking right in front of the room, the cleanliness, the comfortable beds, nice hot showers, it was quiet, and the location was perfect. It is a good basic place to stay, nothing fancy, just our style.
Disliked: We thought it was a big pricey for this property, but I guess that is Santa Cruz on the weekend.
