Liked: wonderful vibe, perfect location for arrival by Amtrak, friendly staff, comfortable bed, interesting history.
Disliked: I wish I could have stayed longer but was on a tight schedule.

Liked: Loved the energy and the location. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were small but clean and cozy. Halloween props and decor were so neat! Very busy but so much fun.
Disliked: The scariest part of the hotel was the plumbing. We were warned about the noise level but not the fact that showering itself was going to be a nightmare! The water kept switching between freezing cold and scalding hot and that was when the water even came out rather than just dribbling straight to the ground. Showers were very cramped, only enough space for one person to stand in the same spot. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone who is claustrophobic.

Liked: Everything went well! This was my second time at this hotel and I am loving it more every time. The staff is always so kind and accommodating (nice complementary coffee early in the morning when the cafes aren't opened yet). I fell in love with my room #226 which was smack in the center of the hotel overlooking the street, and the noise did not bother me one bit. I genuinely enjoy listening to the indie radio station broadcasting out of the hotel lobby and I appreciate that there are no televisions in the rooms. Great vibe, delicious food at the cafes in the hotel, and fun events (we did the séance experience again).
Disliked: Only drawback - I wish the restaurants opened earlier even if it's just to serve coffee (6:00 AM would be ideal). That's all!
