Short stay of disappointment

Liked: This hotel is pretty on the outside but a hot mess inside. Beautiful landscape and decor in lobby. However, once you get to the room, you are let down. There was an awful musky smell in the room that no air freshener could cover. Also, the carpet felt wet the entire stay. We had to purchase flip flops in order to feel comfortable walking around the room. Bed pillows were too soft and didn't aid in a good night's rest. The bath shower combo floor felt grainy, which was alarming as well. At that point, we just was happy we were only here for a short weekend because if our stay were any longer, we would have complained or checked out early. We had two rooms on two different floors, and we all shared the same sentiments. I never leave comments, but this had to be done. Sorry, but not sorry. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Liked: It's a very nice hotel. The staff is great. Location is about 10 minutes away from everything
Disliked: The pillows were very flimsy. The hallways have no AC, so it's super hot waiting for the elevator. The breakfast is not complimentary, you have to pay for it separately from your stay.
