Hilton Garden Inn Tampa East/Brandon

The beds were comfortable and the hotel staff is both friendly and helpful!

Disliked: The only disappointing feature was that the Hilton Garden Inn doesn't offer a shuttle to the nearby ampitheater. They used to do so. Website still says that a shuttle service is available, but it's not.

We went to Lady Antebellum concert and took the shuttle provided at hotel. Very convenient. Had a great time.

Liked: Staff, room and property were great.
Disliked: No bar.

I booked this hotel because of the shuttle service to/from the amphitheater. When I checked in they said shuttle was only to the venue - we were on our own getting back! Cabs were not readily available to get back.

Disliked: Shuttle service is only one way!

Awesome place to stay when...

Liked: This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a longtime. Beautiful surroundings and just the right distance from Tampa. Also had a restaurant so we didn’t have to leave if we didn’t want to. Can’t go wrong with Hilton and the price was on target.

Pricey for a one night...

Liked: I’ve stayed here a few times before the last time it was being renovated. Location is always great for the activities we had planned. Comfortable and I liked that they now have a restaurant inside the hotel that wasn’t too expensive and the food was good.
Disliked: The price was ridiculous for a one night stay.

Liked: Racist disrespectful and room not as advertised. The room didn’t have the room I reserved and employee attempted to give me some sheet and I was told I could just sleep on the floor.
Disliked: Racial profiling and racist employee. Caleb was his name.

Beautiful hotel but no luggaga...

Liked: Breakfast was good and waitress was great! The bathtub in my room was very nice!
Disliked: I was expecting more for the amount paid. It's a nice hotel, but it's very overpriced.

Liked: Great location and room was clean.
Disliked: Under construction, staff not very friendly, extra charge for everything including a bottle of water in the room, and bed was uncomfortable. Not what I expected from the Hilton Brand.

Pleasant

Liked: Room was clean and neat. Keurig was a blessing. TV was good. Bed was clean and relatively comfortable. Pillows were good. No odors on bed.
Disliked: Odor of perfumed cleaner was overwhelming. Bathtub had been painted and paint was peeling. Sink faucet was broken off sink. Ice maker on floor was broken - had to go to another floor for ice. Water pressure in shower was inadequate.
