Liked: The room was spacious. The common areas seemed cleaned.
Disliked: The hotel overbooked themselves and gave away my room. They did not place me in the room type I requested. They gave me free breakfast to make up for it. They also offered me free dinner, which was only good for the first night. Why would I eat dinner at a hotel on my first night in Pismo? Unfortunately, I was meeting other friends there - and they DID get the room type. So we were far away from each other. The breakfast was lackluster. Someone even caught the toast on fire in the toaster. I found dried up food near the bed on the floor. The bathroom baseboard was coming off. Unsightly.

Disliked: I did not like the pillow, I kept waking up, woke up with a stiff neck the second good thing I was leaving home to rest.
