Relaxing Stay in a very...
Liked: The location is great. Most of the main Manhattan attractions are within an easy walk yet the hotel is located just away from the main throngs of tourists making it a great place to come back to and relax after a busy day's sightseeing. The staff were excellent and very attentive and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Liked: The hotel is located ideally to discover New York by foot or metro (closest station Penn Station 34th street, Times Square can be walked easily). It?s surprisingly quiet in the hotel rooms at night even though it?s located at a street with quite a bit of circulation.
The reception staff was always kind and ready to attend to our questions or needs.

Nice clean room
Liked: The room was sufficient. The bathroom was a nice size. The linens were comfortable. We never heard a peep from anything else once inside our room so it was a nice and quiet stay.
Disliked: The a/c made a loud buzzing sound which was distracting. We stayed 4 nights. The first two there was only decaf coffee pods stocked in the room. On Thanksgiving day maid service showed up with no stocked cart but rather lugging a clear plastic bag of towels and a few other items. She did not speak or understand English which made communicating difficult. That day we had to go without clean washcloths, no clean bathmat, or hand towels. We were only provided with bath towels when I asked for towels. We had to ask for toilet paper. She didn't understand what we were asking for. There's suppose to be 2 water cups and 2 coffee cups in the room. We asked for cups and she gave us 2 total. The bag for the ice bucket wasn't replaced at any point during our stay even though we had used it everyday. It was an unprofessional, inefficient interaction and the shortage of the normally stocked items affected our creature comforts in the room for our last full day and morning of checkout. Which made for guest disappointment. The room key would always have to be swiped multiple times before working on the elevator. Some instructions in the elevator or at check in for operating the elevator with your room key would be appreciated.
