It worked for a family...

Liked: Location was close to Jackson square, the riverfront, Bourbon and Canal streets. Rooftop pool area was nice to have. There are some good restaurants close by, especially the Lux for breakfast and Acme Oyster for dinner.
Disliked: Lobby was on the 11th floor which was slightly inconvenient. Rooms were a little dated but were clean. I paid for a city view but what I got was a views of buildings around me. If there isn’t a good city view, they shouldn’t charge for it.

Disliked: Being locked out on the street upon arrival. No way to communicate with the lobby 11 floors up.

Very good

Liked: Comfortable bed, clean room, easy access to the attractions and the transport. Friendly staff.
Disliked: The people in the adjoining room were using weed smoking. I was getting passive smoking and very uncomfortable. Luckily these people only moved in one day before my checking out. It would be great if there was a kettle to heat water to make some tea. I had to use the microwave. I had to go to the reception area each time to get water to drink.

Liked: Had no toilet paper in the bathroom upon arrival but otherwise, great stay.

Mediocre

Liked: Location. Bed was comfortable. Lobby space was nice for our group to hang out.
Disliked: Pillows were awful. Carpet was dirty. The #2 elevator got stuck and stopped abruptly. Parking and the restaurant were outrageously expensive.
