Decent, could improve

Liked: Strong AC (great and needed for heat wave days)Excellent location close to train/bus, etc.
Disliked: To improve: - Cleanliness of bathroom and room- Staff willingness to help: there was a problem with my room and instead of changing rooms, I had to wait for them to fix it. That is not right of a hotel. If a client desires to change rooms (especially because there is an issue), a hotel should change the room, and that is it.- Housekeeping: Waited a full hour (no joke) for clean towels when asking the front desk. After calling 3 times, the front desk person came with towels. Additionally, 2 out of the towels I got were completely ruined, like rags. Not even a motel gives you those towels-Breakfast: every other Garden In in the world provides hot and continental breakfast free. This one charges for both. And even when booking 'breakfast included', it is only the continental, which is only cold items (bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, that is it). Warm or cook to order is a hefty fee. In addition, even if breakfast is included, they make you sign a check, and they round up the total charge AFTER taxes to get a bigger tip, clearly, there is no other reason to do that. Bear in mind, they do serve you a cup of coffee, but the rest is self-service.- They did not have amenities, such as toothbrushes for at least a day of my stay.

Liked: The hotel was clean comfortable when walking in. I was offered something cold to drink. Very beautiful space.All their hotel employees were very nice.
Disliked: The elevator The elevator was the worst thing about this hotel. It didn't work correctly. It took a long time I had to use the stairs a lot.

We had a wonderful time...

Liked: The staff were wonderful, room was always clean and I enjoyed the continental breakfast.The property was in an excellent location close to most of the tourist sites. Manhattan-Chelsea is a pretty area as there are loads of florists so lots of flowers line the pavements.
Disliked: The lift broke down on one day of our visit. Walking down and up 15 flights of stairs was not great. It was great when it was fixed.

Liked: Sam did exceptional job but overall you get what you paid for.
Disliked: There are just 2 elevators for 24 floor and one of them always on the maintenance. Free breakfast was okay but just bagel and fruit salad . There were cockroaches on the lobby floor
