My staying in Hertford House...

Liked: This it was excellent as before but little mechanical difference highlighted . It was fixed
Disliked: The tv channel was not available on time.The toilet was not working correctly.

Liked: The location was fabulous for the reason we visited Hertford
Disliked: Unfortunately, firstly, we experienced an extremely bad nights sleep due to the party in the next door room - shouting, laughing and talking, literally, all night :-(Secondly, myself and my husband could not take a shower in the morning as the water to our room was ice cold!We did complain to reception at check out and they said they would get someone to call us to discuss this - I am still awaiting said call

A couple of fundamentals to...

Liked: Nicely styled. Comfy bed. Kettle and fridge in the room. Helpful staff. Safe place to store our bicycles overnight.
Disliked: Single pane, ill-fitting window facing directly on to the market square packed with outside drinkers late into the night - sounded like they were all in the bedroom with me yelling obscenities - needs new secondary double glazing. The 'shower' cannot be called that - a dribble, varying between cold and tepid at best - whatever system they have in place is not up to the job and needs replacing.
