Winderful

Liked: Fantastic period furnishings, a/c, wonderful host Ann Grimes, outstanding breakfast
Disliked: Small bathrooms I was afraid to use (being used to sturdy American size bathrooms) in case something broke, stairs that were extremely steep and narrow - I understand they are historic and charming, but climbing them up several times a day was an adventure

Wonderful staff and breakfast! Beautiful...

Liked: Absolutely loved the staff- so so helpful and friendly - Anne was WONDERFUL! So was Larry the chef, Rafael and also the east European lady whose name I can’t remember sorry! Most delightful breakfast spread and attention to detailMy husband really enjoyed the hot breakfast choicesI was extremely happy with the yogurts, fresh fruit, pastries! The location was excellent- beautiful and convenient neighborhood
Disliked: Our bedroom had many flaws- it was Aunt Phillie bedroom all the way on the top- the floor was uneven throughout and the room quite cramped for space. The bathroom was very small and the shower cabin door was stuck half way. No doubt there were charming decorations, but the above factors made it hard to appreciate the bedroom

Charming hotel with unique decor...

Liked: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the underground station. The rooms are uniquely and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous—freshly prepared by the chef and a real highlight of our stay. Most of all, the staff treated us like family, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Liked: The property is of a very high standard and the breakfasts are also very good and freshly prepared. The location is great for shopping at Selfridges etc., Marylebone station is also walkable as is Hyde Park. We really enjoyed our time there and would stay again.

Charming property, a must for...

Liked: Absolutely charming property tastefully restored and maintained, much more character than the usual hotel
Disliked: Access on arrival could be better but was easily remedied

A gem that hasn’t been...

Liked: There was absolutely nothing that I didn’t like about this property. From the moment you walk into the door, the staff greets you, assists you with whatever you need, and gives you a tour. And it never stops being that great. The rooms were lovely, a good size, cool, comfortable, and quiet.
