Great Location & Spacious Room,...

Liked: •Excellent location — close to Macy’s, metro, Citi Bike stations, and great bagel spots and cafes•Spacious, clean room — one of the main reasons we chose this hotel•Nice amenities like the LG Styler steam closet•Quiet environment despite being in the city — thanks to great soundproof windows•Friendly and helpful female staff at the front desk
Disliked: •Very minimalistic decor — the bare walls made the room feel a bit stark•No coffee machine in the room, which would have been a nice touch•Housekeeping missed a few things on the last day — an empty conditioner bottle wasn’t refilled despite being visibly marked•Communication with one male receptionist was difficult — I asked to borrow scissors for medical use and was told none were available, which felt unhelpful for a hotel of this standardOverall We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the spacious room and central yet quiet location. A few service-related details could use improvement, but overall, the experience was positive.

Liked: The location was great - right next to some great breakfast joints and some amazing bars/restaurants.
Disliked: The bathroom was a little small but honestly it’s NYC and I loved that it was a shower tub combo.

A modern, comfortable hotel with...

Liked: The hotel has brand-new facilities, and the room is modern and very comfortable. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive.The location is excellent—right next to Penn Station.The room is spacious, the air conditioning works perfectly, and it’s very quiet.A great place to stay in New York
Disliked: The price is high, but you know: it’s New York. If you want a comfortable stay in NYC, you have to be ready to spend more.

Liked: Last word first, SCAM ALLERT. I have made my 5 nights reservation through booking.com 1.5 months before the check in date for$1748. I have checked in on June 11 and made the $1848 ( 100 usd deposit top of the 5 nights room price). 2 hours after my check in, i saw the same room price for the same dates is $1381. Basically i was charged extra for my early reservation. I immediately Contact the man at the reception (this is the man I will tell more about later, his name is Wilson or something like that. 50+ African American guy) and i was told that this is not their problem and i must talk to booking.com . I said OK and contacted booking.com Customer Service in the next morning. The gentleman at CS told me that he called the hotel but no one responded so he Sent an e mail regarding to get more information about the price difference.Then i stopped by reception and explained the situation the the young Lady and she politely took a note to inform her manager. In the evening when I came back I stopped by reception again and asked to other elderly Lady with curly hair for any update. She responded me that they can make the price for $1605 and i immediately told her that I will not accept any amount other than $1381. As soon as I went back to my room the same lady called from my room and told me that "OK we will charge you $1381 by the time of check out" .-my mistake that I did not rquest that by mail or msg for the future, even though I might need i did not do that. My bad-On 16th of June when I went down for check out 3rd Lady told me the total amount is $1605. I asked to talk to the manager. When he arrived I told the whole story and he directly told me that if I have any e mail or msg shows that lady told me they accepted $1381. In fact he said there is no such a lady that I described. This is so messed up. For $219 I am accused of lying and acting insane. I told him there is a camera on top of reception that he can check who i was talking to. >>>
Disliked: Than I told him that I will be contacting higher authorities for their behaviours. BE AWARE OF WHAT TYPE OF SERVICE YOU WILL BE GETTING. I will use all my legal rights to get this shamefull service. Let me put some other quality! Service you will get. This hotel has Excellent! recommendation on booking.com. I needed a spoon to feed my kid and called the guy (that Wilson guy) at the reception and he said that "the spoon is here" and i asked if he wants me to come and get it, he goes "yes, you want the spoon right? it's here". No joke this is the treatment you get. I went down and he handed me a plastic, like the worst quality plastic utensils. I asked his "this is the only spoon you can provide?". He said "we give this spoon to everyone" :) So basically he says if you treat everyone equally it doesn't matter what you do. Maybe they can slap to wake up each and every customer in the morning and its totally fine. Or they can greet all customers like "welcome and f... you" and thats fair. I did not argue more and head back to elevator and heard that he was saying to his colleague that "we are giving to everyone this what is he expecting" There is an automated bidet in the room, ice bucket in there (what the heck am I gonna do with ice bucket, cattle and a bag of tea still no idea) but there is no single metal spoon in the hotel with 'excellent' recommendation!!!Waiting for an answer from booking.com and I will take required and deserved legal action for the price they charged me more than it was...

Great location but very expensive...

Liked: The onsite Japanese restaurant served food of a very high quality. The cleaning staff were outstanding. The location was particularly good except on some nights when the venues in the proximity had bands and crowds - very noisy. The clothes steam cleaning machine in each room was great.
Disliked: Lifts very slow and one broke down fairly regularly during our week+ stay. Due to other venues, some nights/early mornings were very noisy if you had a room facing the street. We had stayed in other hotels in close proximity in recent months but this was the most expensive and not good value for money.

Great place to stay in...

Liked: Always great to be here, spacious and perfectly well equiped room, great location, fair pricing (always depends on the overall NY situation) and helpful staff. Highly appreciated the minimalism and art style as well.
Disliked: Only super minor, but it would be great if the iron board would be in thw hotel room as default (you can still always ask for it)
