Liked: Lovely property and fantastic spa!
Disliked: This was my 10th stay here, always been fantastic! This time however was awful! All the staff all seemed depressed and lacked motivation or care. We overheard the receptionists bickering about someone making decisions, and moaning about other staff.When we asked for reservations for dinner / the menu and a printout of the bill we were made to feel we were asking the earth.I normally book dinner in the orangery but was told this wasn’t possible and we would be seated wherever possible.The food was average compared to normal excellent standards, the menu needs to change as it’s been very similar for the past few years.The room we had in the main house was immaculate (credit to the housekeeper, who was very pleasant) only gripe was lack of channels on the tv and very small screen for the size of the room.The spa as usual was superb! And the staff were amazing, exceptional customer service.

Great overnight stay with lovely...

Liked: Beautiful old Manor House with lovely staff. Food was excellent, all locally sourced. Room was great. Lovely Molton Brown toiletries. Spa was a lovely added extra. Two hour access but must be pre booked.
