Overall a nice place to...

Liked: The main building and location gave one a sense of luxury. The evening food at the Mulberry Restaurant was superb.
Disliked: Room was far too hot. Had window wide open the whole night. This was a top room of a cottage type of property. Had to walk in the wind and rain to get to main house for meals. This is okay if one is not attending a special occasion, but one can be a bit dishevelled by the time you get there.

Good location - be aware...

Disliked: Booked for an adult and two children via booking .com, was told the price included the children . On the morning of the stay received a message from the hotel saying we would need to pay £10 for a z bed - explained that we were not happy with that as booking was accepted for three and price included that . I was advised they would come back to me , they didn’t . On arrival at the hotel my husband was told pay the £10 , as it wasn’t the hotels issue but that of Booking.com. This could have been dealt with better.
