Pleasant stay in a nice...

Liked: The location and the gym and pool the room was ok
Disliked: The older shower set up but otherwise no issue

Disliked: And I went here with my partner we feel dirty and when we walked to our room all the way no light on we need to used our phones light to walk ,and he gave us door card to opened and couldn’t get in , after we don’t want to stay and checked out and we asked to their manager to get refund he said NO we are totally disappointed

Liked: Lovely area and grounds
Disliked: No cash payments allowed, which is just bad business. Poor English from manager and some staff. The place looks like its not being well maintained by its current owners. All the grass was well overgrown, the windows didn't open properly in my room. Breakfast was a joke, only on between 7 and 8:30. Went at 8:10 and they started clearing all the breakfast away at 8:20. So missed out on continental breakfast. Got a full English but told they dont have mushrooms, No toast, no orange juice, apple juice. Awful tasting coffee. The sausage was pure cheap litter. Bacon looked boiled. Shame really as the Manor house and grounds looked like it was once really nice.

Worst ‘hotel’ that I have...

Liked: The fact that I got to leave.. the staff were nice enough and they refunded me as I couldn’t bare to stay.
Disliked: It’s absolutely disgusting… it may as well be an abandoned building. The building is on its last legs and needs some serious money spending on it or just demolishing, it’s crumbling, dark, dingy, damp smelling. The hallways are dark with barely any windows and no lights that come on so you have to pretty much feel your way around. The rooms are probably the worst I have ever come across. There is dirt and grime everywhere, bits that people have picked from their orifices smeared on the walls. Beds are stained and covered in dust/ hair/ grime. The pillow cases have stains, then you look inside at the pillow and see a yellowy brown thing that barely resembles a pillow. Carpets are filthy and stained. The windows wouldn’t stay open to let the musty, damp, stench out of the room so everyone had their windows held open with coat hangers. Thick dust covers every slightly flat surface. The kettle was half filled with smelly water. Just disgusting.. I complained and got offered another room that was just as bad so eventually got a refund and ran.AVOID!!!!

Would stay there again

Liked: Nice big room, clean with very comfortable bed, good breakfast. The pool, sauna and steam rooms were great to relax in at the end of the day
Disliked: It's only a minor thing but the exterior is starting to look tired, needs a fresh coat of paint.

Disliked: Lack of staff. Rooms were not clean and in need of some updating and repairs.
