Please extend your leaving time...
Liked: I loved the surroundings and it’s ambiance. The bed was very comfortable and the room a nice size and well presented and very clean.
Disliked: No teaspoons for tea lol I found it difficult doing the stairs for breakfast… shame it’s not downstairs. The brown leather seats are so uncomfortable. But maybe I should have said something. Please no pop music .. your clients I noticed were mostly of a certain age. Maybe look at some alternatives.

Terrible room. We couldn’t stay...
Disliked: Hi,We couldn’t stay in the room as it had mould in it.It smelt damp and wasn’t maintained to a high standard. We asked to be moved to a different room butthe manager said they were fully booked. We booked a different hotel for our overnight stay.I have taken photos of the mould patches in the room.

Liked: Overall an enjoyable 2 night stay with good food
Disliked: We had the OakTree room, the bed was quite uncomfortable the toilet in the bathroom is in a position that requires you to be rather slim to be able to sit

Passable
Liked: The mill is a lovely looking building and the setting has great potential. The lamb dinner was excellent. The staff were really nice especially the lady at breakfast and another lady who was cleaning the room, as even though we’d asked for the room not to be cleaned she was keen to ensure we had coffee, milk etc.
Disliked: The room was tired and dated and the carpet stained. The furniture was mismatched and not in a charming, eclectic way. The whole site lacked identity…was it an old mill or scrap yard?? The old vehicles might be loved by some people but they really spoilt the overall look of the place. They would be better displayed in a barn for those who were interested and that would allow the historic mill to shine. There is a general feeling of tiredness with things randomly dumped in areas that could be quite attractive. I also felt that the whole place needed a deep clean and declutter.Breakfast was served in a dark and gloomy room whilst the downstairs room was bright and sunny. This was an arrangement clearly made to suit the needs of the staff and not the customers. The hotel would also benefit from a guest lounge with sofas and easy chairs.

Great location and breakfast but...
Liked: Nice location and breakfast was great.
Disliked: Bed was past its best. Black mould marks on bathroom ceiling as well as on the tile grout. Cobwebs in top corners of room. Extractor fan above shower full of dust.
