Great value for money

Liked: Good location, room was small but clean, staff friendly and helpful.Breakfast included was a help yourself buffet style and a very good selection available.
Disliked: Bit noisy from other rooms, not sound insulated, could hear other people's TV at 2am, and someone doing naughty things (lucky buggers) but had a drink so went to sleep OK.

Unpleasant

Liked: The staff were professional, polite and ready to serve
Disliked: My room (213) was noisy due to location and the internal noise from the toilet. Every flush upstairs and downstairs came with a deep noise when the water cistern is refilling. As the weather was hot i expected that the hotel should, as a standard leave fans in the room since they cannot afford to have the rooms airconditioned. This wasn't the case. so you will need to request for a fan and it is only given if its available as they do not have enough to go round all the rooms. The management needs to look into this. I was previously in 212 upstairs and that was no good. it had a noisy floor and a step into the bathroom area - no shower gel etc and I had to make this request. Then I was relocated to 213 downstairs. My 4 nights wasnt pleasant as i couldnt have a good sleep particularly due to the noise from the toilet that kept waking me up. The recycled/ reheated sausages didnt help too at breakfast which had limited choices - no fresh fruit, no yoghurt.In all of these unpleasant experience, the staff member that I met were lovely, friendly, willing to help within their powers and so I applaud them.

Disliked: Room was dirty, bedding had stains on it and sheets didn't fit shower didn't work bath was dirty bed was horrendously uncomfortable, staff weren't helpful and we couldn't face breakfast due to the uncleanliness of the place

Okay but a one-off

Liked: Great price and location, breakfast good. One room excellent, one room downstairs by toilets not so good.
Disliked: Train station a bit dodgy at Romford and everyone suggested not walking and taking and Uber -good decision. One of our rooms was outside the mens communal toilets but halfway down the hall to them and through the door guiding you that way, very strange - therefore doors banging and people making noise all night as they used them.
