Liked: Building was nice but room was with poor insulation.
Disliked: The stench in the room - from the bathroom was awful. When we checked in at 2 pm, we could get the smell straight away. The staff sprayed the room but when we returned around 10.30- it was awful . We ended up opening the window for respite but the mouse from the road kept us awake throughout the night. Room No.223 on ground floor.

Liked: I've stai3d at this hotel on many occasions I do like this hotel but this last time I stayed I had trouble with my anxiety amd asked the man at reception if I could go get breakfast amd then go back to my room.witj it as I was unable to sit down infront of everyone amd the man told me no ! So I missed out on breakfast Amd for the price I thought it was a piss take ... I won't be staying again staff are so inconsiderate
Disliked: The fact that staff are un helpful and rude and do not help there customers at all ...

Location great, hotel very poor...

Liked: The parking was good and incl. in the cost, and the location was great, sadly the only thing positive on this one.
Disliked: The room had a terrible smell, the drains could also be smelt from the bathroom. Very small, very tired, the shower had screws wedged into it to move the temperature and service of the shower! Very basic hotel and I chose not to go down for breakfast down to the cleanliness of the room, I thought it best to avoid.

Disliked: Heating to high, turned radiator down , still came on , very uncomfortable.

Value hotel with parking between...

Liked: Location-wise, very good for my meeting.The breakfast was very good.A member of staff was very helpful as they not only helped me change room (a skylight window- the only window - wouldn't shut) and got a larger room as I'm quite tall.
Disliked: The first room was small, located up a tight staircase and the only window wouldn't shut.Not enought working space, like a desk.The bed was not comfortable.The hotel is on 2 sites; split across the busy Main Road.I should have checked but there is no evening restaurant there or even close. Other guests were getting food from the local Esso garage. I ordered from JustEat and the hotel staff allowed me to eat in their breakfast area.

Liked: Hi rooms very dated but tea and coffee tv worked beds clean . Breakfast very nice good choice hot and nice coffee .
Disliked: Hi shame we did not have rooms close together, we had to change one room which was done with no problem. no shower gel in room 2 ,

Great stay - would recommend

Liked: The room was clean, affordable, big, and charming; the staff were very friendly and attentive; the breakfast was a great bonus, easy to get to on the bus from Romford station
Disliked: the water pressure was a bit low and the tap takes a while to heat up or cool down, but not a major issue!
