Nice and comfortable stay
Liked: Overall the experience was nice and comfortable. But faced a initial hiccup regarding security deposit transfer during the check in.

We’ll likely come back—mostly for...
Liked: I really enjoyed my experience, especially the grand swimming pool—it’s not just large, but also pleasantly warm at 80 degrees, which made for a relaxing swim. A special shoutout to Daniel, the Food and Beverage Manager, who went above and beyond to make our dining experience at the Postcard Restaurant exceptional. He was incredibly accommodating, and the food was both delicious and generously portioned.I highly recommend the Breakfast Burrito ($16), which came with their flavorful homemade salsa. I also tried the Huevos Rancheros, which was absolutely fantastic—packed with fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned. My family loved their omelets and French toast as well. Honestly, there wasn’t a single dish we didn’t enjoy.
Disliked: Our stay had a few hiccups worth mentioning. First, it’s important to note that this hotel does not have elevators—something we wouldn’t have known if the front desk agent, Jesus (pronounced Hey-Seuss), hadn’t kindly recommended a first-floor room due to our luggage and young child. That heads-up was genuinely appreciated.Unfortunately, the first room we were given had an unpleasant odor, which caused our son to get sick. The hotel charged us a $75 cleaning fee for that incident, which was frustrating—but in hindsight, we should’ve addressed the smell with the front desk right away. Thankfully, we were moved to a second room, which was much more comfortable and odor-free.Another downside was the shower water pressure—it was noticeably weak and made for a less-than-ideal shower experience, especially compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in San Diego.

Staff not professional.
Liked: Location
Disliked: Could not reach the front desk when smoke alarm was going off. Front desk staff saying the would call when one of the rooms were cleaned. Never received the call. Upon check-in had to wait for front desk agent to finish casual conversation with assistant front desk manager with no acknowledgment
