Price reflected what we got....

Liked: The price, wood paneling, staff was accommodating to special needs.
Disliked: The bathroom needed new plumbing fixtures - the sink faucet was hard to move and the shower diverter broke. Many switches in the bathroom didn’t work. A lamp cord was broken off in the outlet.

Remote Throwback Motel

Liked: What a beautiful area in a little crook of Maryland! Convenient and cheap.
Disliked: Everything in the room needs updating. Not for aesthetics, but because the room smelled of mildew. I don't believe any level of cleaning would erase the smell. Of course, the adage, "You get what you pay for," is alive and well! This, after all, was a reservation I made, knowing the chance of material upgrade was remote at best.

Exceptional

Liked: I love the "old cozy" The cleanliness is above and beyond, and the price is so reasonable. It is always my stopping point for my last leg of my trip to Pa. It makes the 5 hours an easier drive knowing I will be staying at the Hancock Motel before I have to do the last 21/2 hours of the trip. I love the atmosphere.
Disliked: NOTHING

Disliked: We thought the room was not very clean and the manager wasn’t very personable

Disliked: Cleanliness. The sheets/bed covers were dirty.

Probably the better of the...

Liked: We like the location, the motel configuration and the rooms are generally clean.
Disliked: Room is musty and windows are difficult to open with no screens.
