We had a very peaceful...
Liked: The staff were all really friendly. The room was very clean and comfy. Lots of choice for breakfast. Great way to start the day. Hotel was right off the highway and convenient to get to.
Disliked: For me, everything was perfect. Wouldn't change anything unless you could add a restaurant so you wouldn't need to go out.

One think after another.
Liked: The room/hotel was clean.The waffles were hot and my son loved them.
Disliked: 1) I arrived at 5pm (EST) on Friday, April 11th, and the room I had reserved through booking.com in Janaury 2025 was sold out. They had three groups at the hotel, and overbooked was the explanation I received. I then was given the option to take a standard queen at a discounted rate, which I had no option but to accept, however the discounted rate, was just the actual rate of the smaller room, it was not discounted for my inconvenience.2) The pool area was overcrowded with sports teams, and I couldn't even take my son swimming.3) The pillows provided were horrible.4) The hotel had a wedding or party in the event space, which included a smoke/fog machine. The fire alarms were triggered, and we were required to evacuate. My son had already gone to bed at this point.5) Cigarette butt's were littered all over the parking lot. There were no receptacles that smokers could put cigarette butt's into.6) The hotel offered free breakfast, which included sausage, home fries and omlettes. Unless you were able to score fresh right after these items were put out by staff, these items were closed. The warmers were not warming. Waffles were great though.7) I contacted Hilton's customer service, and compensation couldn't be offered because I booked through booking.com (a third party, versus directly with the hotel). So, as a result, I would seriously think twice about booking with booking.com again. I'll also be sharing my experience with friends and family, alerting them to this.
