Passable

Liked: Management and staff were very personable and accommodating. The manager on duty, Candice, was very friendly and welcoming. After a five hour drive it was nice to have a friendly welcome!
Disliked: We have stayed at several Hampton Inn locations. It is our "go to" hotel across the US; whether traveling alone or with our family. Upon entering the facility, the floors were extremely dirty. It is difficult to keep main entryways clean during winter but the carpets in the hallways on the first and second floors were dirty as well. It looked as if rock salt had been thrown all over the carpets. The room was clean; however, the bathroom fan did not work and the shower dripped continuously. We had to close the bathroom door to sleep. Also, having registered with three guests, I would have anticipated at least three washcloths and a set of sheets and a pillow for our pullout sofa. We had two washcloths and no sheets or pillow. I do want to note that management was extremely accommodating when we asked for sheets and a pillow. We did not discover the shortage of washcloths until bedtime. By then we were too tired to go down to the front desk and get an extra washcloth. At bedtime we pulled the sofa bed out only to find a DISGUSTING mattress cover on the mattress. It had bright yellow stains, black debris of some sort and what looked to be peanuts all over the mattress. Needless to say, we folded the sofa bed back up and my daughter did not enjoy her restless sleep on a loveseat size sofa. I am disappointed that our stay was not satisfactory. My daughter is most likely going to college in the area and this would have been our place to stay during visits. I am sorry to say that I will not return to this hotel. I will continue to stay at other Hampton Inn locations but cleanliness is key and this location failed.

Superb

Liked: Good area. Great shuttle to and from airport. Good breakfast.
Disliked: Room was kinda cold even with heat on. Every time it would kick on, it would circulate up, over and down right where I slept.

Farther from the airport them...

Liked: Pretty room
Disliked: The heating/AC unit in the room is really weird. If you?re not careful it will take the heat up to the thermostat number that you said but then the fan doesn?t kick off and starts blowing cold air when the heat is turned off. That?s your room goes from 75 to 65 all night long. Also the curb at the front of the hotel is not made for pushing the luggage rack from the driveway to the front door. There is a ridge there. You?re gonna have to lift the whole luggage rack to get it up and into the door. I think it was room 231. Don?t stay in that room. Or at least really check out your unit before you stay in that room.
