Easy stay near Yosemite entrance

Liked: It was an easy location. Keep in mind that while it is about a half hour from the Yosemite entrance it is another hour or so into the valley.
Disliked: Surprise parking fee which is very odd for the location.

Handy for Yosemite and good...

Liked: Good location for Yosemite, comfortable bed and spacious room. Laundry facilities are great too!
Disliked: No safety deposit box available in room or at reception despite advertised both in the description and on the back of the room doors. Breakfast is just ok.

Great stay overall!

Liked: Great location, everyone was friendly and the location was very convenient.
Disliked: The pool was crowded because neighboring hotel guests were allowed to come over.

Will not return.

Liked: clean and new. easy parking and access.
Disliked: The thermostat was not working and we felt so so hot. We arrived late so it was in the middle of the night when I woke up to try to turn on air. 2 AM. I could not. The shower head was also broken and the sheets were a size too small for the duvet (which is not washed) which left us exposed to the unwashed duvet. What really really made me angry was the staff response. In the morning they blamed me for not "changing rooms" in the middle of the night. My family was set to do a 14 mile hike in the morning and she said it was my dault for not changing rooms and it was likely the battery that was low. When I asked if they don't check these regularly she just shrugged. It was outrageous. Also, the breakfast is crap American food. Dyed cereals, fake eggs, waffles, oatmeal. Not a single peace of fruit.

Confortable stay after a long...

Liked: The close distance to Yosemite was great and was walking distance to restaurants and shops in Oakhurst. It was relatively less expensive that the other hotels in town.

Liked: Location was close to family. Bed was comfortable
Disliked: No table and chairs in room. No pillows on sofa for back comfort. Couldn’t play cards or dominoes in evening with no table. Electric outlets on headboard didnt work; couldnt plug in phone to charge by bed
