Hampton Inn New York Times Square

Absolutely helped make our stay...

Liked: The front desk staff was amazing! No matter the time of day or night, the desk staff were always willing to help us out. They always put forth an effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Times Square to the fullest. Location was amazing with quick access to the subway station and numerous landmarks.
Disliked: We seemed to have a problem getting the room to cool down more than it did. I will admit I did not reach out to the hotel staff for assistance in this area because we were still able to get a great night's sleep. The quality of the breakfast food was what we expected when trying to feed hundreds of guests, not amazing but was enough to get our day started.

4 nights stay

Liked: The rooms were quiet, especially since Times Square is around the corner.We had a good laugh regarding the filled up elevators as everyone standing in there so grumpy.
Disliked: The breakfast area is to small to accomodate the guests. We didn’t used the buffet as there where plenty of places to go nearby. And as mentioned above, the elevators are crowded at some timepoints and that apperently brings out the worst in some (pushing/yelling etc.)

Liked: Breakfast and tea coffee arrangements
Disliked: Did not help us with early check in. Had to wait for long hours. No seating arrangements and cluttered luggage kept in front reception.

Liked: Location was perfect.
Disliked: The breakfast area is pure chaos. Not large enough, plus if you are single, and you leave your table to get another plate, when you return, the table is clear and someone else is sitting there! There needs to be some system in place for single guests. I skipped breakfast a number to times due to the craziness.

Nice place, friendly staff, and...

Liked: I liked the welcoming staff. They were warm and helpful. We stayed as three people in one room and needed three keys. When I asked for an extra key, they kindly gave me one without any problem.
Disliked: To be honest, I didn’t like the breakfast. The options were limited, and there were food items that might not be suitable for everyone. Considering that many guests may have dietary restrictions or religious beliefs, I believe more inclusive choices should be available.Also, I was hoping to make my own crepes, like in some other Hilton locations.Thank you.
