Liked: Clean room and comfortable bed.
Disliked: No service with the tv. Have a big tv in the room and no service to watch after a long drive. Staff didn’t even bother to inform us about the lack of service and no discount on the room. As a long time traveler you come to expect at least local channels to watch as you unwind from a long day of travel. I guess when you pay a premium price for a hotel these days you shouldn’t expect the staples you would get at a motel 6.

Disliked: Was going to use the pool but it was to cold. Did not have a microwave in the room. Cost $50.00 for my pet which; will switch back to Best Western as they only charge $20. No dog bags available unless you ask at the front desk, they are hid out in a drawer. Damage to the corner of our room; but they know that, but are not fixing it.

This is a nice hotel...

Liked: Room was very large, clean, well lit, and comfortable. Bath area and shower were fine, but there was no hand soap or drinking cups. Mattress was comfortable. Room could be made quite dark at night and was blissfully quiet. Large TV had lots of optionsBreakfast was OK, but not a highlight. Waffles were nice, omelets were good, sausage didn't appeal to us. Cereal selection was minimal, but oatmeal was fine. Coffee was very good - fresh and strong. Parking was plentiful and well lit at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. Fuel is readily available nearby. There is a decent grocery store about 1/2 mile away.
Disliked: Wells is a nearly uninhabited crossroads. There is a little fast food nearby, but the only restaurant is inside a casino - exceedingly smoky with low quality food.

Liked: the hotel is very clean and the room was very comfortable.
Disliked: The issue we had was, through Booking .com and the Hampton brochure's, it maintains that pets are allowed even on the Booking . com invoice indicated that we had paid in full, HOWEVER, no one but the girl at the front desk said that there was a $ 50.00 fee for the dog. This is total B.S. its like telling you that there is a Hair Dryer in your room and then once you check in they inform you there is a fee to use it. i will never stay at a Hampton Again, and I'm disappointed with Booking .com that that info is not available when you book.
