Hampton Inn By Hilton & Suites Pittsburgh/Waterfront-West Homestead

Great place to stay. Nice rooms; friendly staff; good buffet with lots of choices. Very clean too!

Liked: Room was very nice. Laid out well and very comfy. The breakfast was good too. Lots to choose from.
Disliked: None.

Had a great time, went to see John Carpenter and hotel wasn't but 10 minutes away. Great location. Would love to come and do a vacation there.

Liked: Staff was so kind; plenty of options for dining within walking distance. The room was very nice.

I come to Pittsburgh twice...

Liked: The location is very convenient, breakfast was ok but not great. Staff is friendly & public areas are clean.
Disliked: Leaks in the 5th floor rooms seems to be an on going problem. Hampton’s standards are slipping.

Don't waste your money

Disliked: Everything other than the location and staff. I've been a member for years and this was the worst establishment I've been at with the chain. Toilet didnt work and had to get fixed, the shampoo and conditioner bottles were broken off the fixtures in the tub, the one hook was broken....there wasn't a blanket set for the pull out couch. There was no air conditioning in the hallways, the lounge, the lobby, etc. Nowhere but the rooms. The breakfast was horrible...not many options and not restocked. We asked for a late checkout the night before for 1 hour and they seemed like it would be granted but said to confirm the morning of...to which we were denied even being a member for years. No towels in the pool areas. The price was ridiculous. $350 for one night for what I described above. Highly disappointed.

Liked: The bed was comfy. And the staff were friendly.
Disliked: The bathroom was awful. Leaked over the toilet, constant drip onto you when you sit, or on the floor and toilet seat. The ceiling is damaged badly. There were no other rooms available. Also, doors dont close properly, causing you to have to slam shut to secure your room which kept us up all night on Sat, from other people coming and going. This was Room 404 which we rented several months in advance for college graduation.

Would recommend this place highly
