Cockroaches, dirty mattresses, extra charges

Liked: Good location in downtown. Eliot the desk clerk and the breakfast attendants were very kind and helpful.
Disliked: There were cockroaches in the breakfast area, our mattress was dirty and stained, the plaster in the bathroom was cracking above the shower, lamps were missing from our room, the pool had a lot of hair floating in it, and last but not least, the hotel charged us a $380 smoking fee because they said we were smoking in our room. We don't smoke, and we were actually down in their lobby eating breakfast when the charge was "triggered" in our room, so there was no one even in there at that time. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card because they wouldn't take it off. Then the next day there was another unauthorized charge for $100. Overall it was a very bad experience. Don't stay here.
