The Hiltons wouldn't approve of...

Liked: AC worked, location was fair, unit was clean, the bed was fine (bring your own pillows), surprisingly we saw no roaches or other critters. Breakfast coffee from the buffet area was drinkable and the food was typical for hotel chains. Noise level wasn't too bad and we slept well.
Disliked: First impression was appearance; poorly maintained hotel. Second impression we reserved a king room with walk-in shower and were given a tub with water backed up when taking a shower. We were told since we booked through a third party (Booking.com) they couldn't see or know what we reserved. I guess they think we're idiots. They offered a room with 2 double beds and a walk-in shower as the fix. They stated no other options, the parking lot was empty between 5-6 pm when we checked it and the facility seemed to be 30-40% occupied looking at the parking lot the next morning. Exterior: needs repainting, pool water was milky looking, A ditch was dug under the parking entry sidewalk by the pool with exposed PVC piping and no safety barricade tape or similar warning. Interior: run down facility, lack of maintenance, only one working ice machine in hotel which was on the first floor by the pool exit. Brown stained ceiling tiles throughout the hotel from plumbing/water or AC leaks. Room: shower water always ran or dripped due to a bad gasket, the tub drain was clogged with hair. The Hiltons wouldn't approve of this facility and neither do we, we won't be returning.
