Hampton Inn By Hilton Columbia

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. It was clean and the staff is great!

Liked: The staff was incredibly friendly and personable - they were all cheerful and greeted me each and every time I walked by. The bed/comforter/pillows were REALLY comfortable - I didn't want to leave the bed!
Disliked: I have nothing bad to say about this hotel!

We were looking for a larger gym.

Liked: The room was a very nice size. The bed was very comfortable. Everything seemed quite new. The staff was very welcoming. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in a chain hotel. There was a lot of variety and healthy choices. The hotel was very convienient to the Merriweather-Post Pavilion. Also there was fridge and microwave in room.

Liked: Stayed there before.
Disliked: The host never really greeted us; almost closed her office door in the middle of a question. I really didn’t appreciate the charge for parking tacked onto the bill. The snack case was practically empty on both arrival and departure. Things have changed and not really for the better. Wont stay again

Very basic hotel and offerings,...

Liked: Good location near major cities and restaurants.
Disliked: Very basic facilities, no good breakfast or variety, no welcome water or anything else in room, plus parking for a fee even though you parked at hotels owned parking space. The small convenience section at the lobby (water, refreshments, etc) was almost empty.

It was fine, no problems.

Liked: The breakfast was pretty good. The room was clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The wifi wasn't free unless you had a premium account or something like that.

Staff was helpful and friendly....

Liked: The location was very nice and comfortable. It was cozy, and quiet, and with it being just outside the city travel times weren't bad.
Disliked: Nothing! Our stay was quick but great.

Disliked: Couldn’t get back in the building at 3 am I was locked out of the premises and know one was at front desk responding

Hampton Inn met our need...

Liked: Scrambled eggs and bacon were good. The Western Omlette not so much
Disliked: That the cost of a beer was $9.00 exorbitant for a domestic beer
