Good location. Typical price for...

Liked: Rooms were bright during the day. Good location with shops and the Brooklyn bridge with a reasonable walk. Subway is 5-8min walk with good connections to Manhattan. A couple of the front desk staff were really good and the housekeeping staff were unusually cheerful. The fitness centre is reasonably equipped. Free breakfast and 24-hour free coffee (albeit the swill that Americans drink).
Disliked: At night, the room lighting is poor. If people don’t close the doors very carefully (which they don’t) they slam hard enough to make the walls shake. The facilities would be good if there weren’t so many guests. Front desk was frequently rushed, and breakfast time was frenetic. Breakfast selection was ‘okay’ but some healthy options are needed.

Liked: The comfort and cleanliness of the room and hotel. The breakfast had healthy options and variety.
Disliked: My room had no views as i requested. We came to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, not even a congratulatory balloon or card. Not even the receptionist wished us happy anniversary and it was logged on my reservations as the reason we were visiting

Liked: Everything was incredible. We had a 9 hour delay on our flight from Paris to New York so we missed our check in. We were extremely tired and the staff made sure we could eat some food and go straight to our prepared room to rest! The location was amazing with views of the Manhattan bridge from our window. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and very clean! And thank you for the room upgrade! we cannot wait to come back

Good place but does take...

Liked: Less expensive than my usual hotel in Manhattan
Disliked: Breakfast was chaotic. Food not replenished well one day. Deliveries arriving in the middle of breakfast. Housekeeping skipped my room one day (no sign on my door). Never found out why.

Liked: We were going to Brooklyn (not Manhattan), and the location was great for our trip. The staff was friendly. The room was clean.

Liked: Staff was friendly. no problems with the staff. shout out to kila.
Disliked: Room was very dated and drawers didn't work (didn't pull out). The bed was extremely tough and not comfortable. The clock didn't work. The pillows were not comfortable (way too soft). The chairs were way to low.
