Disappointing
Liked: Location was fine but entrance to hotel was in the parking garage
Disliked: Outdated and not clean - way too expensive for the amenities

I would not recommend this...
Disliked: The room was not what we expected. The bed was very uncomfortable, the room had a damp smell, only a couple outlets were working I felt like I was staying at the motel 6. Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience at the Hampton Inn San Clemente.

Spacious rooms, clean and good...
Liked: Nice location and the rooms are spacious, staff was friendly and tried to help. Breakfast was good and everthing was clean.
Disliked: No change and no washing detergent for laundry, even though they have announced that on a info note in the rooms. We had to drive to the next gas station at 11pm...

Pleasant staff, clean and comfortable...
Liked: Property was easy to get to.
Disliked: There wasn’t enough covered parking but there really is y anything that can be done for that based on location of hotel and the surrounding businesses.Also, tv was not a smart tv so unable to use Netflix/hulu.

Won’t stay again!
Disliked: We arrived at 4 am and had a 11 am check out i requested a late check out because we had little to no rest but were denied although we paid for a Full nights stay and didnt even stay 7hrs!!!

Liked: The location
Disliked: The staff. Have never experienced such bad customer service from a hotel staff in my life, especially for an employee named Ruby. Was charged twice, once from the hotel because booking.com never sent over my confirmation and once form the hotel, which was over $100 more than I originally booked for. Now I am in the ridiculously frustrating situation of trying to be refunded for the double charge and extra money.
