A lovely stay in Beautiful...

Liked: Excellent room with a great view. I slept well. The shower was fantastic.Breakfast hot, plentiful & good quality. Staff very friendly.
Disliked: You could feel springs a little on the edge of the bed.

Comfortable and welcoming

Liked: Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Especially Connor in the bar. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Room was clean and comfortable Breakfast was very good plenty of choice and food was hot. No fried eggs on offer but didn’t ask if that was an option and it might well have been done to order , although never saw anyone with one. That said plenty of choice of hot and cold food Bar food available in the evening as no restaurant on site
Disliked: Hadn’t realised that the hill back to the hotel was going to be such a challenge with a disabled scooter but we managed.

Good but with room for...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. The location also was good and convenient for the conference next door. Also it is a walkable distance to the local restaurants and food supermarkets. Receptionist were nice and friendly and check in and out was very easy.
Disliked: I would have expected at least a small fridge and some complimentary water in the room — if not a minibar — especially at this price point.The breakfast was somewhat disappointing, with limited food options. There was a noticeable lack of fresh fruit and vegetables, and the cold selection was underwhelming. For example, the cheese offering consisted only of two types, individually wrapped and not particularly tasty or appetising. This fell short of expectations for a hotel charging £180 per night.
