Liked: Very comfortable traditonal inn, well modfied. Friendly staff. Good food and drinks. Excellent breakfasts by Tom. Lovely locaion by the Peak Dstrict.

Very nice stay close to...
Liked: The restaurant was very good and the food excellent
Disliked: The breakfast only had a small selection of cooked breakfasts. Choice of a juice or cereal would have been nice.

the good and the bad
Liked: location was nice for monsal trial,chatsworth, Bakewell etc
Disliked: As we were staying for 2 nights we decided to eat in the pub and have a drink,a little pricey perhaps. 1st night bar and waiting staff were very pleasant etc , did not mind us popping out for a vape However after our meal the second night, we decided to go out side for a vape and were told we had to pay our bill there and then even though they were told we were staying at the property but insisted this be done!. I mean like we were going to leave our clothes, car keys etc !so after this, we did not have anymore drinks or a dessert .money in my pocket, not in the til!
