Some good stuff

Liked: It is a beautiful setting and great location to visit other towns
Disliked: We were unable to get a hot breakfast on Saturday due to the admin issues (no breakfast list so the kitchen was overwhelmed) and only one member of staff it seemed Beds incredibly uncomfortable Rooms very hot2 power cuts- not hotels fault but no updates from staffMy daughters car was hit in the carpark by a member of staff. She had reported it, but we were only told by a wedding guest - no note to let us know the hotel was aware

An enjoyable stay in a...

Liked: Staff were friendly. Rooms were large, clean and well decorated.
Disliked: Breakfast was chaotic. Very little food left on both days. On Sunday they made us individual breakfasts. Which was good I would have liked better chairs in the lounge area.

Pleasant stop over on the...

Liked: Gentlemen on reception was very pleasant- we arrived late (around midnight) and checked us in very quickly. Lady overseeing breakfast also pleasant.
Disliked: The pull out beds for the children weren’t great, quite uncomfortable- but did the job after a long day travelling. Ours are under 10 years, older children might struggle as they were quite small.

Nice stay

Liked: Location is great as it's quiet. View from room looked out over the golf course. Bar area was pleasant, a good number of tables indoors and nice seating outside area. Good selection of food for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room was hot and electric fan was not that effective at cooling the room.

Hospitality very good

Liked: The rooms were very clean and spacious, staff were very nice.
Disliked: Overall the hotel is quite soulless, made functional for golfers I guess. The breakfast wasn't the best, very greasy eggs, basic products, limited choice.
