Liked: Very picturesque location on a fabulous golf course. Nice views from my window. Nice little restaurant and the food was excellent. Definitely stay again.

Very disappointing that a receptionist...

Liked: Hotel Facilities, because that's the only part of the complex that I experienced due to the nature of my stay.It was supposed to be a celebration of my life, you have to celebrate every year, it was acknowledging a milestone; it was my 61st birthday, on Good Friday.
Disliked: The attitude of the hotel reception staff, namely (2) separate individuals, one "a stand in" male member of staff and the other a receptionist, handling front of house operations, in terms of booking guests of the hotel in, and checking them out after their stay.I was so dissatisfied with my stay that I got up at 6:00 Am, dressed, and first called the front desk to ask if I could speak the appropriate person about a complaint, which was that there was no running hot water in room 214and that following my arrival the night of 19th April @ 9.15 Pm that I hadn't been able to have a hot shower at the end of a very long and tiring day.The receptionist informed me that she would call their service engineer, to assess my claim of no running hot water, and ask an engineer to come to my room after 8:00 Am, on the 20th, April EASTER Sunday.Tap, tap, tap I get a knock at the door after 8:00 Am, BUT it's not a plumbing & heating Service engineer, rather 2x inhouse room staff who'd been sent to check the operation of the mixer tap, and temperature of the water in room 214, that it was functioning correctly between30 degrees, and up to 50 degrees * as indicated on the controller on the mixer, that controls the mixture of hot vs cold passing out the mixer and into the bath/shower.The 2x room staff asked me if they could check the mixer's operation in the bath/shower, I said they were welcome to, I told them of my experience the night of 19th April that when I arrived after 9.15 Pm I'd booked in, de-bagged. and attempted to take a hot shower, at best the temperature was warmish/tepid BUT certainly not hot!Both staff tried to operate the mixer, by first depressing a button on the mixer that determines required temperature, i.e. up to 30 degrees, or if desired between 30 degrees and as high as 50 degrees!

Pretty and well kept!

Liked: Our lodge was stunning and the price was amazing considering the size and including breakfast! Plus the service was so kind!
Disliked: Not much negative at all, maybe just having kitchen roll or some cleaning products. That being said there’s a dishwasher with tablets and fairly liquid, just no cleaning spray.

Liked: The calm and serenity of the place.

Liked: We were looking for a getaway for Easter weekend, and this offered just what we were looking for. The place is serene, surrounded by the lush green, and hills are a breath of fresh air.A good way to unwind from the buzz of the city.
Disliked: The breakfast was the standard English breakfast. Could do with abit more variety like vegetable selection - varied egg selection- boiled, scramble, etc
