Grange White Hall Hotel

Ideal location perfect for getting...

Liked: The staff and location of the hotel were brilliant and so was breakfast in the morning.
Disliked: The hotel is dated and so are the rooms and very cold and the cost isn't reasonable

Liked: Reception man was really nice. He was from Sri Lanka. Very polite and welcoming. Strategic to many attractions. Clean and quiet . I was giving a lecture at a high profile conference the next day, good night sleep was essential and I was given a really quiet room on the top floor .
Disliked: None

Nice hotel, great location

Liked: Excellent location, nice choice for breakfast and a well stocked bar, pleasant rooms with comfy beds.
Disliked: While it didn't spoil the stay the hotel seemed a little dated. It would have been good to be able to open the bedroom window as it got quite hot during our stay

Disliked: I cannot rate the White Hall. Arrived to find it closed and a building site, even though I stayed there 4 weeks before. It no longer existed. No instructions on where to go or what to do. People at the hotel opposite told me they thought other Grange hotels around the block were handling bookings. Took their advice and found the nice people at The Clarendon who honoured the booking. That was an excellent hotel. Total happenstance that I found it, as it is not branded Grange. A note on the building site saying go around to xx hotel would have been welcome, an email, anything. A terrible dereliction of duty.
